This cache was formerly known as
Grizwald's Paradise Cache, placed by the4hunters.
Unfortunately, the original cache listing provided only parking
coordinates instead of the coordinates for the cache, and it was
eventually archived. But we’re stubborn, and knew there was
Tupperware out there somewhere. After hours pouring over
topographic maps, numerous clever deductions, brain-numbing
calculations, and a final strenuous physical effort, we were able
to locate the missing container six kilometers from the listed
coordinates. So we claimed our smiley, and now we’ve been
offered the opportunity to claim the cache, too.
Park on the side of the road where the powerline crosses it, due
east of the cache. You can hike, quad or snowmobile to the cache.
The distance from the road to the cache is just under 5km, with an
elevation gain (and loss) of about 100 meters each way, because of
a hill in the middle. It is a great spot for lunch complete with a
view of the Sundance Creek valley with the Rockies in the distance,
lots of trails to quad on if you like that sort of thing, a fire
pit for cooking your wieners, and even bathroom facilities (sort
of).
The cache is an ammo can.
