A quick grab along the ocean highway by mile marker 2. Park where it's wide enough for vehicles and off the asphalt. Keep a CLOSE watch on kids as traffic is moving at fast speed.
This cache is at the base of a short new fence, one of several fences that have been placed over the years to prevent sea turtles from wandering onto the highway and into traffic as they come on shore looking for a spot in the sand to lay their eggs. Bring pen/pencil to sign the logbook.
