Geocache Description:

Nice park-n-grab.

Please bring pen. Beware of muggles during the week.

About the Depot: A 1903 standard plan depot building with waiting rooms, office warehouse, garage and bathrooms. Make sure you ask about the history of the building. Items on display are varied in size from a fire truck to items of jewelry. Many artifacts relate to local area farmers, manufacturers and industry.
Hours: Mon-Fri: 10-3:00 Sat: 10-12:00.

Across the street is the famous Rawls Hotel where George Washington Carver built and displayed the first peanut-powered automaton. This place also provided a warm bed for travelers on the road between Dothan and Opp, or between Bonifay and Elba.

The Rawls is also of significance to us because it is where we were married one beautiful day in September!
