TAD #152 N Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Old_School_Skater: This trail has been player maintained for years now...I originally set it up with different types of hides along the trail with interesting fines and some harder finds that might take two people to look so the driver would have to get out from time to time to help look... But it didn't take long for players to turn this into a power trail taking containers from one cache to another even though the containers do not match and throwing down containers at the caches that need a geotool to retrieve the cache instead of looking for the actual cache.... I tried to maintain it for a while and put things back as they were but I finally gave up so if the players don't maintain "their power trail" then caches will be archived along the way.
Thanks

Geocache Description:

Welcome to “Trails Across Delmarva” (TAD)

This sixth section of trail in the TAD series contains 21 caches (“TAD #136 N” Through “TAD #156 N”) located between Eldorado and Sharptown MD. This section has some ditches in places that will need to be crossed, they were dry when I placed the caches but I can’t say they will still be dry after a heavy rain. I adjusted the terrain ratings to reflect this.

For the best results with the TAD series, please read the entire list below.

  1. This list will be exactly the same for every cache in the “TAD” series.
  2. Most of the caches in the series are located near a road and may not be suitable for younger kids.
  3. Caches are NOT necessarily numbered in the best order to find them.
  4. Caches are numbered by direction… either East to West OR North to South on each section of trail
  5. Each cache title will have a letter at the end to indicate the general direction of travel on the side of the road where the cache is located. (You may find it easier and safer to only collect the caches on one side of the road at a time)
  6. Most of the caches are quick C&D’s although there are multiple types of containers and hides with some harder caches mixed in…. including some hides that will require a Geotool to extract the cache container. (the difficulty/terrain ratings and attributes for each cache are adjusted accordingly)
  7. PLEASE conserve log space on the micro caches by only writing your initials on the logs and using a “team” name whenever possible….THANKS

Happy Hunting
