Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates.

The secret lies with Marcella.

Over the last few years, I have heard stories of a fabulous moving cache, in which only geocoins could be traded. It traveled the world until it became a great stash, and local cachers feared it would be muggled. So they hid the treasure well (this was in the days before eBay) and left clues so that future generations might someday find it.
Those cachers have all moved on, but I saw a note scribbled in a muggled logbook that I think was from one of the last of them. I have reproduced that inscription above.
I have tried to locate the treasure without success. In the Archives I have found clues, but some information is missing. Perhaps you will be luckier than I...

"Albuquerque. See I can do it too. Snorkel"

There are 4 stages.
You will have to drive a bit to start. I suggest you take it one step at a time and research other caches in the area to make the most of each trip. I would not assume you could do this in a single day, though some assumptions, and a little luck, would make that possible.
"I don't see any ship"
Come prepared with:
oh let's see... Some tracing paper or tissue, and if you are squeamish there are useful alternatives at 1407 Pacific Ave, I hope you are well impressed at this stage; cash for parking (unless you are fast); a pencil and notepad so you can appear studious; and I'm sure all good puzzlers always carry a mirror and a full Spectrum of tools. A pro-scriptive approach to all stages will not be wasted.
"Did Bigfoot take it?"
Hours:
Stage 1 can be visited anytime, I suggest before 9am on a weekday as extreme stealth may be required on summer weekends (please don't alarm the muggle hordes). Requires skinny arms.
Stage 2 (which is in 2 parts) may be viewed Mon-Tue 1-9pm, Wed-Thu 10-9pm, Fri-Sat 10-6pm, Sun 1-5pm, unless it's just not available, a distinct and random possibility, in which case you might just have to wait, possibly for a week or two. But just for your Reference, I have provided an alternative at the site. There are tables in the back for your use, consider how your activity may appear to others in the area please.
Stage 3 may be visited anytime, but you may wish to be selective of the hour, and the nearby muggles are VERY alert.
The final may be visited from sunrise to one hour after sunset. Consider having someone stand watch as muggles can sneak up on you here. Acquiring and rehiding involves some care and artistic effort.
"Is it a MILLION dollar pipe?"
