During Spring and Summer the caching area can get thick with vegitation. Be sure to check for ticks! Very low chance to see muggles here, but be on the lookout anyhow. The cache area does not go outside the white fenced in area. This is a residential muggle area, and they're best left undisturbed.
Wescosville Golf Club is the result of the wrong direction of the economy. Lowes purchased the land with the intention of building, but inevitably went on hold until things improved. Years came and went, and sadly things never improved. Eventually the land was sold, a parking lot built, and land eager for new businesses waited.
It is indeed upsetting, but with every unfortunate turn something wonderful can find its way through. For years, my friends and I have been using the vacant land as our Golf Course, aka The Wescosville Golf Club. This place was a blast to play snow golf, though most balls would eventually get lost.
On the date of this cache's conception (2/6/12) is the one year anniversary of my only hole in one in golf. I've never come close to ever hitting one on a real golf course, but Hole 2 at WGC in the Snow Golf Open holds my greatest prize in golf. First to find this cache gets the actual ball from the prized shot.
We've since closed the WGC, and hopefully in time this land becomes full of life again, the result of a rebounded economy. It has been a special place for me, and hopefully, it will be to someone else in the future.
