The Golden Mushroom At Congers Lake Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

The cache is located on the beautiful pathway alongside Congers Lake. There is a little parking lot off of Route 303 that you should park at to be closest to the cache. The coordinates for the lot are:
N 41° 08.712' W 073° 56.098'

The cache is an average clear Rubbermaid container. There is no camouflage ect...for you to worry about, this is a fairly easy and relaxing cache recommended for new cachers.

* Lots Of Questioning About the name of the chace from all the cachers so here ya go guys!*

When I first placed the cache, there was an ENORMOUS gold mushroom growing on the tree near the cache. I'd say it was about 6 or 8 inches in diameter...... it died a long time ago. I didnt have the heart to change the name :

I have been un-active as a cacher for some time, as my muscular dystrophy flared up. It has since gone into remission, and I'm back and ready to go. If there are issues with the cache, please let me know.
