This is not a stroll in the park. It is close but difficult.You will wade-you may have to swim. Vegetation is dense. Be careful.
Urban hides can be difficult, but usually due to keeping it hidden from the public. You won't have to worry about that here. It is self-protecting. You will have to be discrete, be careful, and get wet. The habitat is a cypress dome with generally year around levels of water due to possible connections to a superficial aquifers or springs. The hide is right out in the open. It has a friend. It is prehistoric back here. Parking is listed. Do not enter from the college side of the property. That section is closed to the public.
