Geocachers have been working with the Barnstable Land Trust to help clean and maintain their conservation properties since 2006.They encourage geocaches on their properties and are always happy to have people on the trails willing to lend a hand.
We first visited this property back in 2008 to help clear out some invasice species of plants along the waters edge. This event will continue that project as well as get the ground ready for some planting in May (keep your eye out for that CITO event!).
Bring good work gloves, and lopers if you have a pair. We have one, maybe two rototillers being donated for use. A couple of rakes wouldn't hurt! Please post what you can bring in your 'will attend' log.
There will be water and snacks made available during the day.
East Bay Road is a small street, so there will most likely be an alternate parking area made available if we get a high number of cachers to attend.
