Osprey Observer Newspaper Cache by Fotomagik
This is a fairly easy cache to find, and an easy hike, sponsored by the Osprey Observer newspaper. The cache contains items from the paper such as ice cream scoops, pens, etc. When there is a camera, please take a photo. There is a logbook to sign if you like. DIRECTIONS: Enter Fishhawk Ranch (Phase I) on Lithia Pinecrest Rd, 1/4 mile south of Fishhawk Blvd. This entrance is on your right assuming you are travelling S/SE from Fishhawk Blvd. After entering Fishhawk Ranch, make a left into Hawk Park, and go all the way to the end of this road. Park in the cul-de-sac, and find the paved trail to the left of the basketball court / street hockey rink. Proceed right (S/SE)on the paved trail. When you come to a bench on your left, you have gone too far, back up about 50 feet. The cache is on the W/SW side of the trail in the woods.
