Geocache Description:

The above coordinates take you to a plaque on one side of the famous Thomas Telford Aqueduct at Dyfrbont Poncysyllte near Trevor. Here you will pick up some information to guide you to the main cache/coin exchange. There are lots of interesting walks and Heritage Trails from the carpark with a few notice boards and artwork to admire.

At the plaque, take the number of the anniversary (ABC) of his birth and convert the numbers onto the cache waypoint - AB and C Cache coordinares N52 58.13(A+B) W003 0(B).A90 The main cache is a magnetic hide-a-key, and once you get to the right location, it should be a fairly good hunt. You DO NOT need to go over, or stand on, the steel railing/fence or stucture. You can reach the cache with both feet on the ground. Please rehide as found, thank you. But feel free to use the clue . Trading rules: Logging a find for this cache also DOES NOT REQUIRE a trade. The cache initially contained five coins: Two Pence 1979, Five Pence 1997, Ten Pence 1975, Twenty pence 1983, and a Fifty Pence 2000. You may if you want to, trade a coin of a different year and/or mint mark to any of the coins in the cache. The trade must be like for like, ie a Two Pence out then a Two Pence in. Please clearly log on this website what you've traded, so that future finders will know what to expect. (You may want to bring a selection of coins just to be sure.) Anyone not trading a coin may log a "FIND", but may want log a "note". (If you've placed a coin) I may or may not keep the coin list up-dated. You can pick a nice Waymark up here too - http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WMP63 What is Waymarking http://www.waymarking.com/help/faq.aspx 20/10/08 Stop Press - Japanese Banks Following the problems in the sub-prime lending market in America and the run on Northern Rock in the UK , uncertainty has now hit Japan. In the last 7 days Origami Bank has folded, Sumo Bank has gone belly up and Bonsai Bank announced plans to cut some of its branches. Yesterday, it was announced that Karaoke Bank is up for sale and will likely go for a song while today shares in Kamikaze Bank were suspended after they nose-dived. While Samurai Bank are soldiering on following sharp cutbacks, Ninja Bank are reported to have taken a hit, but they remain in the black. Furthermore, 500 staff at Karate Bank got the chop and analysts report that there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank where it is feared that staff may get a raw deal. Congratulations to our Phil (PhilPamAndRob) on his 4th First to Find today on (White Rabbits) 1/3/08, shame the rest of the team missed out. Mind you if you are scared of hights this cache is NOT for you, not one of Gails favorite spots . 3/3/08 Congratulations to Top Team "180" & Sam for finding this cache without using the clue So far only 5 cachers have had to use the clue, dont struggle for to long with the little , its only a game .
