Geocache Description:

When I saw the styrofoam cut-out in the store, I imagined a spray of lovely pink flowers covering it.  This would be a beautiful tribute to our mother, who is a survivor. Once in place, soft breezes would send the petalled heads dancing and golden eyes peeping in and out of a sea of a thousand shades of coral, cotton candy and salmon.

um...no...reality is a bit of a...well, you know...

A few minutes into the creation process, I realized that my vision was proving difficult to reproduce.  A few more minutes and it dawned on me that I was creating what might possibly qualify for the world’s most hideous cache.

Ssiler was having a similar experience with her cache, but that’s a story for another cache page (Unpretty as a Peacock GC5JF6N) .  We couldn’t decide which one was worse, and, in fact, we are still debating it.  You’ll have to make up your own mind when she publishes hers.  For the moment, however, this cache is Her Highness of Hideousity in the Realm of Ungliness. She may be loud, but she's proud, and still a tribute to our mother, who can appreciate the humor in an ugly situation.

The property owners HAVE given permission for me to place this cache, but please do not hunt it after dark. Due to the location, we were having some trouble with the coordinates, but I looked these up on Google Maps and they seem good. Let me know if you find out differently. If you find yourself more than 50 ft from the road, you've gone too far. And, finally, although the cache is pretty big, the container itself is a micro so B.Y.O.P.

Congrats to Starlight and 2G on their FTF!
