This is a real nice easy walk through a very interesting section of
woods. I suggest walking in about 100+ feet from the old road so
that you can see the uniquely shaped lichen covered trees and moss
covered hill side.

At the time that I adopted this cache (01-06-06) it was the ninth
oldest active cache in Kentucky. I really enjoy the short walk
through the woods to this cache and I wanted to preserve the
historic cache for others to enjoy as well.
DO NOT DRIVE ON THE OLD ROAD NEAR THE CACHE!!! It is against LBL
regulations for vehicles to drive on unnumbered roads. Driving on
such roads could lead to a fine and doing so while seeking a cache
could cause LBL to create restrictive regulations or ban caching
all together. Believe me you will see much more if you take the
short walk.
