A flashlight or some other light emitting source is needed to
spot the elusive "peepers". The first item on your agenda will be
to find your way to the above coordinates. There is more than one
way in to reach this starting point, either from within the park or
from another point outside. We came in from outside the park and
figure its less than a mile walk all total. Once you reach the
coordinates, use your light source to find the first set of
peepers. Make your way to those then start looking for the 2nd set.
Find those and locate the 3rd set, then 4th,,,,you get the idea!
The last set of peepers that you come across will differ somewhat
from the rest and you'll find the stashed Cache just northeast of
these! Once you log your find, you may wish to punch in the
coordinates that we included at the front of the logbook. These
will get you out of the woods a little quicker than you came
in.
The cache is housed in a 2 quart size container and has some of
the usual Geocache swag. Take an item and leave an item if you
wish, but be sure to log your find in the cache logbook and here at
Geocaching.com.
Our thanks go out to those Louisiana Cachers who put out a
similar cache by the name of Jeepers Creepers up by Alexandria. We
hope that ya'll enjoy this one as much as we did theirs!
