This is Stage #1 and part of a mini series called “16 Mile” located down in 16 Mile Creek. All three caches are of small size and contain the regular assortment of small goodies. I just found my 50th cache and thought it’s time to set a few of my own. I welcome any comments and or suggestions.
Parking for all three caches can be found at N43 29.102 W079 46.433. Take caution not to block the driveways. After parking head East down to the bottom of the valley. The trail head starts on the old bridge. You can get to the first two caches by following the river but I recommend following the ATV/Snow mobile tracks up the East side of the valley and walking the parallel trail though the woods up on top. If you follow the river it maybe shorter but as you get closer to the cache the terrain gets very difficult (not family friendly). The first two caches contain coordinates on the inside of the lids. Follow these coordinates to get to “16 Mile – Pump It Up!”
