Geocache Description:

The cache is in a popular Essex County park. It's a micro cache in a small, plastic vial, so don't bring anything much larger than a nickel. Bring your own pen, or pencil as the container is now too full to fit one.

Please be sure to screw the top on firmly, so the contents stay dry.

It's an easy walk and should be an easy find. The park is very popular, particularly on weekends, or really nice days. So it's a good idea to grab the cache, do your thing elsewhere and return to replace it. It's covered with bark and leaves, so be sure to cover it well when done. Also, check out the odd tree at N40.49.793, W74.14.692. Quite interesting!

Among the original cache contents were: a mini log and pencil, 2 Indian head pennies (1906 & 1905), a 1925 Buffalo nickel, mini bottle of Tabasco, pair of earrings, colored paper clips, a guardian angel pin, Where's George $ and a "zugbug" fishing fly (so watch your fingers when reaching in).

Note: The park is closes at night (I forget if it's after 10, or after sunset. Check the signs), so night cachers, don't be surprised if you're surprised by the police.
