So .. have you wondered why the name? Well, I'll tell you. It was the last day of Spring Break for GR8 EYES and we were driving to Madison from the schoolhouse to meet up with Mustang_Man (Ewe's hubby). We caught sight of the huge cemetery and my eyes glazed over (if you know me you know I love cemeteries!) I grabbed the GPS and hit mark. I guess during this short time I missed the speed limit sign that dropped from 45 to 30 in about 100 feet of road. The Sheriff however did not miss me. Darn. A $109 ticket and 4 points! Oh my Gosh!
Well, I wasn't about to raise my insurance (since it's already too high in Milwaukee) so I returned to Mazomanie on the 11th of May to appear in court. I left school immediately, telling everyone I had a meeting to attend. It took 2 hours to get to Mazomanie and I arrived 5 minutes before my hearing. I paid the fine and got the points eliminated. Yes!
Ewe and Mustang_Man met me for dinner afterwards and then we hid the caches in the cemetery. Enjoy the little bit of Mazomanie I bought for $109, but for gosh sakes don't go over the speed limit! This cache is the first of four placed in this cemetery (so I think I got my money's worth!) There's more to this story but that's all I'll tell you for now!
