Geocache Description:

Disclaimer
All cachers assume all responsibility when caching and parking. I never intend for anyone to cross onto private property nor do any digging or vegetation damage during a hunt, unless otherwise noted.

The photo above is from Ingalls Lake with the Stuart Range in the background, the photo doesn’t do it justice, and you will need to hike to the lake. The hike in is a full day hike in and out, there is however, camping before the lake which you can setup, then proceed for the day to the lake and return to camp before dusk.

If you just like hiking or biking along with geocaching, this is the place to visit and camp overnight.

We come here to camp for long periods every year and since I got into geocaching, I thought it would be nice to place a few caches in the area. This so happens to be one of four currently.

If you were to follow the road before turning off to #9703 past Beverly Campground to the end of the road there is the Teanaway river falls and trails to Ingalls Pass and Esmeralda Peak which I have visited and will again.

To get to the cache area: Take interstate Highway 90 to Highway 970 Exit #85 towards Wenatchee and take the Teanaway cut off. You follow the North Fork of the Teanaway road to 29 Pines campground. At this point you will have been on black top road until you reach the end at 29 Pines campground. You then take the gravel road towards Beverly campground Road #9737. When you cross over the first bridge, turn right onto road 9703 and Trail No. 1351 Then follow to the road to the end where you will find 2 trail heads. Take the Miller Peak Trail No. 1375 for a short walk.

Beware of hunters during hunting season and bear life is in the area so keep an eye open while hiking. Hunters have mistaken people for BEARS when shooting! A good idea would be to bring along an orange vest, just for safety. Trust me, the hunters will appreciate it and it just might save your life!

Note: A Washington State Northwest Forest Pass is required to park at the trail head. Washington State website for passes.

One can also purchase a Northwest Forest Pass at most any REI store.

Please replace the cache as intended and secured. You will need to bring a pen to sign the cache.

If you have any questions or concerns before heading off to the cache, please contact me.

Happy caching to all!

Congratulation to Mr. Gadget #2 for FTF.
