THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES!
The actual cache container is hidden within 1/2 mile of the posted coordinates.
Carl Friedrich Gauss (whose name rhymes with "house" not "pause") was arguably the greatest mathematician the world has ever seen and one of my personal heroes.
I know you are probably in a hurry to solve this puzzle, but when you get the chance, take some time to read a short biography of this remarkable man.
This puzzle cache is designed for you to become more familiar with "the prince of mathematics." The correct coordinates of this cache can only be found by completing a short puzzle in which you will answer biographical and mathematical questions about the life and work of Gauss. All of the answers are readily available online but may require a bit of creative searching.
Cache is a small tupperware container with room for small trade and trackable items. Bring your own pen.
Keeping with the mathematical theme there is a small Great Rhombicuboctahedron as the prize for First-To-Find!
This is my second attempt at a puzzle cache. I would appreciate your feedback. I am particularly interested to know if you are able to view/read the puzzle. Have fun!
The puzzle will load as a JPEG image below...
