A small cache hidden within 40 feet of the Back Bone Trail.
A simple hide on an underserved portion of the Back Bone trail. Located within 45 feet of the trail. This leg of the BBT travels along the Will Roger’s fire road, though just a trail, connecting Trippet ranch to WRSHP. So, just a reward for your travels, and a place to stop and see where you came from and where you're going.

Yes, it's pleasantly cool up here. I even had to put on a shirt at one point for a few minutes. That's SoCal in early January. This was a fine place to pause for a moment, thanks!

Starting to get a little tired now, but the trail gets really nice along here -- shady & cool. Had to look around a little bit for this one. Replaced the baggie. Thanks.

By the time I got down here from Bend, Path & Beyond I was feeling like I was nowhere between hither and yonder. This is a long and lovely section of trail, and at 10:00 the heat wasn't quite yet unbearable. I still haven't learned where to get these containers. The baggie is all torn, but with the good seal on this container, it should not be needed. (However, the stash note taped to the top looked like it's getting caught in the seal, which will allow it to leak. I tried to close the lid to avoid this.) Only one more along this way today: Bigger than a Bison Tube.

13th cache out of 22 towards BBT spinal tap. We had a few scary fast bikers along the way today. It's hard to hear them coming sometimes. We added a few more rocks to the pile of this cache. Great views! Tftc

[The] trbcvyr [has been reduced to a single rock. I took me a few to spot it, since I was looking for more.

Thanks for the cache!] (decrypt)
