En 1998, les installations du
plateau d'Albion ont été démantelées. Une partie des ZL a été
reconvertie.
[English] In 1996, the
President of the French Republic announced the withdrawal from
service of the surface-to-surface component on the Plateau
d'Albion. The closure of this site, followed by the dismantling of
its missiles. The dismantling of the eighteen S3D strategic
missiles with megaton warheads was completed in 1998. A part of the
ZL (launch pad zone) was reconverted, another part is
unused.

d'Apt.
