Take a 2 mile hike to this out-of-the way, but scenic spot in the Brooklyn Wildlife Area. While not an actual island its location between two running streams can make it challenging to reach. After rains the field will be muddy and it could require wading in the marsh. It's best found after dry weather, or in the winter when the marshy areas are frozen. Navigate carefully or you can end up on the wrong side of a stream and unable to cross. The nearest parking is a gravel lot on Bellbrook Road at N42° 52.7295 W89° 28.2412. Since this is in a popular public hunting area please wear blaze orange during hunting seasons. You're looking for a medium-sized, well-camouflaged cache. The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Mike Foy of the Wisconsin DNR.
