This cache is meant
to test you physically, mentally, and emotionally. It
is not easy. In fact, this cache can be extremely
dangerous. Do not assume any warnings herein are
made in jest. There is no trail so you will have to bushwhack in
the whole distance. There is a very noticeable elevation
change. I could only get 50 foot accuracy because of the
obstructions, high brush coverage and the hillside. The
coords above will take you to the edge of the water and the cache
is at least two feet below the water out about 10 feet under a pile
of rocks so as it will not float away. Please cover it back
up the way you found it. You will be in the area of Lake
Crabtree and Crabtree Creek.
Be sure to bring the
proper equipment - rental scuba gear can be had locally at
http://www.gypsydivers.com/ - for an under water adventure.
Hip waders may be useful during low water levels. Do not
attempt this cache after periods of moderate to heavy rainfall!
Never attempt to access the area through swift moving water!
You should be prepared to get wet. You should bring a
partner. Be sure you know the number of the 911
operator!!
Much care should be taken
to write in and study the written log for this one.
