After living in Iowa for over 50 years, we found ourselves empty nesters with a taste for adventure and a growing dislike for blizzards. So we quit our jobs and moved from the expansive cornfields and long cold snowy winters of the north, to the milder climate in the Lost Pines region of eastern Texas. We've been here a little over a year now and are nicely settled into this beautiful and amazing little community. This is my first of hopefully many hides in the Lone Star state.
