Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the 50-acre Wittlinger Preserve next to the Yellow Breeches. It's a full-sized camo ammo can, full of stuff to trade.

Public parking is available at the south end of Boiling Springs Lake (near N40 08.824 W77 07.511). Crossing the pedestrian bridge, you’ll find yourself on a path that takes you to Wittlinger Nature Preserve (about .6 miles round-trip to cache).

Not much bushwhacking is required. The only bushwhacking might be in the last 25 to 50 yards to the cache. There is an approach that doesn't require you to get juicy, either.

Make sure you get a good GPSr reading, as the tree cover may try to play tricks on you near the cache. Also, please replace the cache container as well or better than you found it, and at the same altitude.

Check out the special pencil I included with the log book; it's custom made for my caches.

The initial cache container has a bungee cord, baggie of first aid items, flashlight, packaged toy car, a CITO capsule, a 2-pack of AA batteries and many more items, including a YELLOW JEEP Travel Bug (#0097) to kick this cache off right.

Enjoy the hunt!!!
