We happened onto this location while out caching one day.  We were quite surprised by the amount of trash that is strewn in the area.  It looks to be a popular illegal dump ground.  This CITO event is aimed at making a dent in the trash.  We will meet from 8am to 9am.  Bring your own: trash bags, gloves, and any trash grabber device you have.  It will likely already be hot by then, so bring plenty of water and sunscreen.  It is super sandy so dress appropriately.  Be prepared to “trash out” your own bulging bags.  This CITO event is in August to afford geocachers a chance to do a good deed and earn the CITO souvenir (on their profile).  The event log will be a hidden cache at the posted coordinates.  It will certainly be easy to find, just look for the people with trash bags signing it.  There are lots of nearby caches, so maybe spend the morning in northwest Tucson grabbing caches and doing a good deed.  The location is on the north side of W Linda Vista Rd.  There are ample places to park along both sides of the road from the posted coordinates.  The ground is very sandy and quite deep in certain spots, so be careful depending on the type of vehicle you are driving.  There is trash everywhere but the bulk of it is concentrated just east of the coordinates on the north side of W Linda Vista Blvd.
