Geocache Description:

How often do you geocache?

That was the question that we first considered some months ago posed at a cache with a similar theme back in New England. We discovered that after four or so years of caching there were many days on the calendar that were "geocaching blanks". It takes real dedication and time to find a cache on each day of the calendar.

So here is your challenge. To claim your smiley you need to actually sign the log. (Sorry, no stickers, stamps or signature items.) You also need to have the calendar on your geocaching profile statistics show that you have found a cache each of the possible 366 days including February 29. It isn't necessary that they be 366 days in a row, just a fully completed calendar.

We will check the log for your signature and then your calendar on your profile and will delete any and all "Found" logs if the challenge isn't met. You may post a "Note" log when you actually put ink to paper and then a "Found" log when you complete your calendar if you want to do so.

We've made this a 4.5 star difficulty because it takes some planning and persistence. The actual cache isn't that hard to find. It is along one of our favored routes from southern Lake County to the Bay/Delta region. Parking for several cars is available on either side of the road but the cache is located on the "western" edge. The little stream tends to dry up in the summer but the general views to the north are quite nice all year long.

Enjoy the challenge and have fun.

03/23/11 - Congratulations to Team Dromomania for first to sign in and to two bison for the first to complete! Well done!
