St Patrick's
Chair
St Patrick's Chair was an early place of meeting. Two granite
pillars marked with crosses commemorate first preaching of the
gospel.
Parking is a little tricky with a layby just down the road at a
small bridge. The stone crosses are only a short walk up the track
and sign posted all the way. Please make sure you close all the
gates securely behind you as there are frequently livestock in the
fields.
The cache is not at the monument but near by. Your looking for a
670ml snap lock box which has been camo'd to within an inch of it's
life! Please be careful to reseal the box and replace it
carefully.
The picture doesn't really do the crosses justice. So take the time
to go and visit for yourself when you've found the cache.
