A strenuous hike with some outstanding views of the area. The hiking gets easy once you've reached the ridge.
You have several choices for making your way to this cache. Two good ones are either the Sweet Clover trail or the Dark Hollow trail. Both of these will deposit you on the Jessup trial near the top.
Once you have made the ascent to the Schunemunk ridgeline you will be hiking mainly on pudding stone or conglomerate. If you look around, you may notice the effects of glaciers from the last ice age.
To access this cache follow the Jessup trail for about .3 miles to the south of the Megaliths. You will come across a gradual rock slope on your right at around N41 23.309 W74 07.285. Make your way down the slope for about 500 feet and then head south again for about half that distance. There are some great views near the cache.
You are looking for a Camo Taped Lock & Lock container. FTF can have the LED Keychain Light.
