Located in on the Greenway in the Town of Poughkeepsie. Park at the New Hamburg park at N41 35.279 W73 56.647. Stay on the trails until you are near ground zero, and the cache is about 80 feet off the trail, in a very typical spot. The area around the cache is fairly open and requires a minimum of bushwacking.
The cache has been changed out to a lock n' lock box due to dampness in the old ammo box. It contains the usual kid friendly swag and should be good for all but the smallest kids. This cache was placed to complement the exisitng caches on this section of the Greenway. The first part of the well marked trail could be damp in wet weather, and there is some elevation to consider although the trail makes it relatively easy.
