Calliope is one of nine daughters of the Greek god Zeus. She and her sisters were collectively known as muses and they inspired patrons of the arts. It was Calliope who inspired Homer when he wrote the Odyssey. You will also need her aid if you're to log this cache.
Unlike other puzzle/mystery caches this cache is at the posted coordinates. This cache was set up as an ALR (Alternative Logging Requirement) cache, meaning you will have to complete a set of requirements in order to log a "find" on this cache. But these requirements no longer pertain to this cache.
These logging requirements no longer applied to this cache. But if you want to try it just for fun and the practice of writting long logs then you can but it is not a requirement. All you need to do to claim a find on this caches is to sign the physical log sheet. Here's how it works:
- Create a bookmark list entitled "Your Calliope Challenge"*
- Log 30 consecutive caches with an online log length of at least 50 words.
- Only "Found It" ,"DNF", and "Attended" logs will count.
- Each cache must have its own unique GC number.
- Acronyms (LOL, TFTC, etc.) and letters (a, I) will count as one word.
- Each cache log must be unique, no pasting the same log over and over.
THESE LOGGING TIPS ARE ONLY FOR FUN. NOT A REQUIREMENT.
The cache is hidden at the Haroldton Access Area (closed from 10pm-6am) and is a small cammoed jar hidden in a traditional manner.
