When I hiked out to find all the caches in the north end of
Pleasanton Ridge a few months ago, I discovered that there was a
big loop of trail that was still cache-less! Now I have remedied
that. Be prepared for a long hike, though.
This cache is placed along the Shady Creek Trail, but you'll have
left the shady creek behind you by the time you get here. I thought
this would be a nice place to stop and take a bit of a break.
You're looking for a decon container (roughly 4x3x2 inches) that
contains only a log book and stubby little pencil. (It would
probably be best if you brought your own pen to write with.) Using
the hint should make it pretty easy to find, if the tree cover
gives you any reception problems.
