Geocache Description:

The third cache that is along this same trail originating from the new parking lot on the West Virginia side of Route 33 at the top of the mountain.

This one mile hike (one way) in the George Washington National forest has it all: A 700 foot climb; three caches; a cool piece of history and it ends with a 360 degree view. What more can you ask from a caching afternoon? This not to be missed threesome is especially spectacular in the fall.

The trail leaves from the new parking lot on the West Virginia side of the top of the mountain (N38º 34.778 W79º 10.139) The trail climbs steadily through big trees and mountain laurel until it reaches an access road. Follow the road to the right (south) until the trail takes off to the left (east) The trail skirts the edge of private property in several places so please stay on the trail.

The cache is well hidden near the road. Some things are just not what they seem. Please make sure to replace the cache to its hiding place.

To get to the cache you will hike past "Tip Top" cache by Sparksco and if you go another .12 mile you will get to "Back in Time" by Techlines.
