Virtual cache located in Rocky Mountain National
Park.
You have a very good chance of seeing elk and possibly moose.
Kid friendly. You'll want to carry the younger ones.
Elevation: approximately 8900'
If you are not accustomed to high altitude, this may be more
difficult than rated.
Park at waypoint below.
Cache is a few mile (intentionally not specific) hike or horse back
ride.
Terrain is typical of mountain trails, but not too steep. Terrain
should not be a problem for kids. Horses are allowed and can be
rented locally.
Bring a picnic and enjoy the Rocky Mountains.
There are several back country campgrounds located along the trail
if you're so inclined. Note that you must obtain an overnight
permit from the National Park Service.
