The original cache container, which has since been replaced, came from Blucruz's Cache of Caches (GCY7EK), which as the name implies, is a cache full of ready-made caches. We found Blucruz's cache in Northern California in the city of Magalia, a town located just north of Paradise, CA.

We have been thinking of placing a cache at this location for awhile. Debbie was drawn to the site because it looks like a mini-paradise with beautiful vegetation, interesting rock formations, and cascading seasonal water -- hence the name Paradise South. Blucruz's ready-made cache was just the motivation we needed to finally place this cache.

Kind of late in the summer to find any cascading water, but we did enjoy the tree and the interesting caves up on the mountainside. Took car and bike blinker, left puzzle ball and wrist band.
