The hide spot looks like a great spot for some critters to take a snooze.
This hide was intended to orient people to one of the main trails through the Weldon Brook WMA. The trail itself is just south of the cache location. This is good to know as it makes getting to other caches a lot easier.
The cache itself is an big, BIG ammo can filled with the usual goodies. It also contains a couple of my new personal geocoins for the first finders. It has been placed in this prime critter spot (hint). The problem is that there are lots of these spots around.
As noted, the cache is in the Weldon Brook WMA so hunting occurs in season from Monday through Saturday (wear orange). On Sunday no hunting is allowed and it is the safest day to hike. This is swampy and rocky terrain so prepare for that type of hike (gym shoes not such a good idea).
