Easy walk through evergreen and deciduous forest. *NOTE* Cache
replaced on 2/29/08. I could not put it in the original location so
it is about 8-10 feet from the original coordinates. (GPS batteries
died so couldn't get a new reading)
Another cache placed on part of the Bay Circuit Trail system. This
is located in the Silver Lake Sanctuary off Rte 27 in Kingston. A
very pleasant walk. Not a long one so be sure to take a snack or
sandwich and sit and enjoy the surprise view at the end. Follow the
trail to the lake. Before you reach the lake there is a path
through the woods that will let you get to the cache. There are
some briars but nothing too bad. It may be tempting to follow your
GPS and bushwack up and over the hill but try and be patient and go
the trail by the lake for an easier hunt. WE HAVE REMOVED THE
CAMERA (9/16/02) AND POSTED THE PICTURES AT www.qsl.net/n1mjp/Silverlake.html

September 5, 2009 by erycka & wichie (1087 found) Grabbed a bunch of caches, drop them in the GPS and with and as early as 6:00am we were already doing our first search. We have now limited time time to cache together so the plan was to make the most we would before 11:00am and go back home (Barnstable) braving the heavy traffic going to the Cape in this beautiful day and hopefully Wichie could make it to work on time. The results: 13 finds, no DNF's and in our way back we notice tourism was concentrated in Plymouth and surprisingly the bridge was totally clear of jam. It was a Good Day! We missed the head of the trail so had to do a bit of bushwalking to get to the cache. Not too bad, just that there was someone camping nearby and it was very early. We tried to bushwalk in silent but that was is impossible The find was quick. We were surprised to sign right under Single747... just like the 'ol times. TNLN ~ TFTC!!!

May 9, 2009 by Single747&C2 (1059 found) C2 and I decided to get some caching in today in the Kingston/Halifax area. This was a well placed hide, but we prevailed. We signed the log and replaced exactly as found. TFTC

April 24, 2009 by Jilldog (864 found) Continuing on in the nice little conservation area. Found the first cache and walked on over here after. I loved the neat little trails along the water. Not a fan of the snake I encountered though. UGH! [ :O] Left a geocoin and TN. TFTC #698
