We live 30 miles away so it's no longer feasible to maintain these geocaches.

These geocaches have all good long lives, 13 to 14 years old.

We may someday own a cache near our home.

Right now its best for us to be geocache finders than geocache owners.

Geocache Description:

A little cache in a big traffic area.

This cache is on the Burke-Gilman trail near the corner of NE Blakeley St (hence the name) and 25th Ave NE.

The site is neither geographically or historically significant, we just thought a high traffic area would be an interesting place to hide a cache. The high traffic includes cars at the nearby light, bicyclists, walkers, patrons at a nearby restaurants, guests at a hotel and much more.

The container is bit larger than a film canister but still micro sized so bring a pen/pencil.

Geocachers using smart phones: beware of duplicate postings that you found the cache. Duplicates will be deleted if found. They throw off your numbers and the geocaches. Thanks.
