The terrain is generally flat with a mowed turf, may be some mole holes and such.
Battle of Lexington State Historic Site, easy access from site parking lot. After hours walk around the visitor center to the Anderson House grounds where the cache is hidden. Small plastic container, brochures, tokens, pencil and log book. The Anderson House was used as a Federal post hospital during the Battle of Lexington 1861. One can see the battle damage on the outside of the home which was received while it was fought over by both sides. Tours of the house are given. For more information call the site at 660-259-4654.
