Welcome to the Northern portion of the Washburn County Forest.
Biotreker and I were looking at some maps for points of interest
and came upon one listed as “The Trapper’s
Cabin.” We had a great adventure trying to find it and
decided to share some of that experience by setting up a series of
caches.
Every cache in this series is a stand alone cache. No mystery or
puzzle to solve, just enjoy the hike. Because of the final
destination we decided to name the caches in the series after
animals historically trapped in Wisconsin. Since the final
destination is quite a hike, we decided to make the hides fairly
easy…so keep your eyes peeled for obvious Geo-beacons.
