Geocache Description:

An absolutely gorgeous hike along the historic old and new Erie Canal System. This cache is placed in honor of our 100th find.

The cache is a 2 part multi-part cache. Our first multi-part cache. The first part is a black, magnetic key case. Please sign the log but bring your own pen. Please take the time to enjoy the history behind this area. A lot of work has been done to restore it. Inside the key case are the coordinates for the 2nd part. The 2nd part is a 30 cal. ammo box. It is filled with Seven-Up items and other assorted goodies and the Whitneyi the Owl Travel Bug. Step forward in time as you find the cache.
