Family/children friendly walk to a unique historical site. 1850s log cabin. NEW: Watch carefully for poison ivy on left of sidewalk on way in.
This cache lies in a small valley/creekbed in a neighborhood green belt between Bella Vista and Twin Creeks subdivisions in NW Austin. To access the trail enter Twin Creeks subdivision, proceed straight to the second left on Izoro. Off Izoro the next left on Zennor leads to a cul de sac. Trail begins to the right of the cul de sac. Trail is one fourth natural, then paved sidewalk making this a fun kid-friendly hike of less than a mile. Note Historical Marker in front of the unoccupied cabin. Coop is 75 yds behind left side of cabin. Also note: The cache is NOT inside the coop, which is UNSAFE to enter. I have moved the cache a few times due to muggles. Still near the coop.
