Bats – Take a look at the box hanging on the tree near by. This is one of many resting places for bats. Bats are the only mammal that can fly! A bat can eat 600 or more mosquitoes in an hour. There are two common bats in middle TN – the Eastern Pipistrelle and the Little Brown Bat. Learn more about bats at the Nature Center.
