Explore Stump Pass Beach State Park! Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

SeekerOfTheWay: The beach where this was is eroded. Hopefully someone will place a geocache out here as it's a great location. I just can't maintain this one right now. The old one is gone.

Geocache Description:

Placed with permissions from Park Manager, Gasparilla Island Administration Cayo Costa, Don Pedro Island, Gasparilla Island and Stump Pass Beach State Parks.

Stump Pass Beach State Park is a 245-acre park in Charlotte County
that consists of three islands and the protected channels between
them. A great landing point! The park is located at the southern
end of Manasota Key.

The park features soft, sandy beaches that
invite you to picnic. Clear water with cushy bottom great for
Snorkeling and viewing fish, dolphins, sting rays and manatees.
There is a nature trial that offers a sandy trail and views of the
park.

Bring a camera to capture Florida paradise! Cache is a clear
lock and lock.

If paddling out to Stump Pass please be aware of winds, tides, currents and other boat activity. Stay safe and enjoy
"real Florida!"

You are looking for a clear lock and lock.

There are many ways to access this cache site.
I placed it from Oyster Creek Launch, near Lemon Bay HS by kayak. Grab that cache too! GC32YXE (boat required).

This is intended to be a paddle cache but is also accessible by land, starting at the parking lot!

Either way, enjoy!
