Community Days is a week long celebration that commemorates the birthday of the City of Lincoln City. It wouldn't be a celebration without a geocaching event. So here it is. This event is run by me, with the approval of the Community Days committee to use their name on my event. So plan on April 12, 2008 for an excuse to geocache on the Lincoln City Oregon Coast!
April 12, 2008:
10 AM will be Geocaching 101. This is a great opportunity to teach the citizens of Lincoln City (and anyone else who desires) about this fun adventure that we all go out on!
Then at Noon will be the adventures around town. This event will be a mix of what I did at the Celebration Of Honor Event and The Geocaching Windfest Event. Come ready to have a lot of fun. I promise you that it will be a beautiful day on the coast! Plus I have 80 Geocoins to give away that were minted for this event.

Go to www.lincolncity.org and find the Geocoin promotional link to find out more about how you can earn a Lincoln City Geocoin. That is separate than the Community Days Geocoin. I would recommend that you arrive in town early on the 12th or on the 11th and pick up this passport so that you can earn the geocoin while in town this weekend.
