This cache is good for a long hike, wonderful views, and great blue
berry picking on a beautiful day in the mountains.
The cache is less than 2 miles from the Glen Alps parking lot. From
the parking lot take a well used trail to the area locally known as
the football field. The cache is a small clear tupperware
container.
The dirt trail is steep and involves a climb of approximately
1300' of elevation. Dress warmly as this area can be quite windy
and cold even in summer. Avalanches are common in winter. Use
caution!
Don't forget to bring your football!

Lovely, very WINDY area. This was my first visit to the “Football Field.” Started out cloudy and socked in but the sun peaked out eventually. Nailed False Peak, Little O’Malley, and 6 caches with The Runtman today. Very successful winter hiking (and caching) day in my opinion. TNLN. TFTC.

The sixth and final cache on a windy winter day of hiking and caching. This is a great area for geocaching since its beautiful country and there's several caches nearby to find. TNLN. TFTC.
