Geocache Description:

This cache was created as a symbol of friendship between Bulgaria and Portugal.

It is located in the village of Ivan Vazovo, named after the well known Bulgarian writer, and it's placed near one of the communal ovens existent there. In such place the community would gather to bake meat, specially lamb, and eventually bread.

The 6th of May is the celebration of St. George and by then the whole community will flow to the area where the cache is located, to cook, socialize and all those things. It's therefore a bad idea to hunt this cache in such day.

If you come using an off-road vehicle you may like to proceed to Hissar, as there is a trail departing from this cache zone, leading directly to the old Roman city, where another cache is available (please confirm).
