Devils Canyon Motorway (north end of Topanga Blvd)
Moderate walking trail up Devils Canyon Motorway. Exit from the 118 FWY at Topanga Blvd, park at the end of Poema Pl. and follow the green stripe from the guard shack to the trailheads. Take the trail to the right which goes down into Devil Canyon and head north. When you reach the dam, take the fork to the left.

There is some poison oak in the area but not on the trail.

The cache is hidden in a place where cows occasionally like to hang out, so don't be surprised if you see some! While I was sitting at the cache site, I saw several raptors (birds of prey) and I could hear all kinds of birds singing. There are also quite a few Walnut and Oak Trees in the area with Mistletoe growing on them.

You'll be looking for a Decon container with a few small trade items, a logbook and pencil.

Good luck & Happy caching!

No cattle hereabouts, but higher up in the canyon. Cheers.

Cattle have been here, but not today. Shall I go on to the top of the canyon?... yeah, probably. Cache is in good condition, and thanks tom4props!

This is a great mtn bike ride up the canyon. A few burned trees are across the trail here and there and the wind really kicked up once in a while. It was wonderful. Happy to have clean replacement logs to sign. TFTC.

Nice little cow hangout; free from fire damage and still grass to graze! TFTC

Good news Tom,
This cache, and my "Devil's Wash", seem to be the only caches in the canyon that survived the Sesnon Fire. In fact, this seems to be the only spot in the whole canyon that has grass left in it. Everything else is toasted.
