Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Prairie Bridges Park on the north edge of Ackley. It is a medium sized Lock N Lock container with a few swag items in it.

Prairie Bridges is currently an 101 acre park with over 60 electrical campsites and has 3 miles of scenic trails that take you through forested areas, vast prairies, as well as by streams and ponds. 18-acre Jacob's Prairie contains many plants and grasses that are native to Iowa. There is also a Swimming area, picnic sites, and stocked fishing ponds, as well as Restroom and shower areas. The park has recently purchased additional land to the west and will be converting it to part of the park over the next couple of years.
