I really enjoy the mining history of the Cahaba Coal Fields that
are now the Cahaba River Wildlife Management Area. I found this
marker today while searching for
this nearby cache.
The cache is a log only and you will need to bring your own pen.
PLEASE REPLACE THE CACHE JUST AS YOU FOUND IT!Please take
the time to read both sides of the marker and enjoy another piece
of history of the beautiful Cahaba River.

Enjoyed reading the sign before looking for the cache. My GPSr had me looking on the wrong end first and then I remembered the hint and looked athe other end. Still, it was a little tricky. Good hide. TFTC
